OUR STORY
Dr’s Vinay and Supriya Karanam are carrying on the legacy of the wonderful Dr Gerald Mah who retired in 2015 after caring for the Wallsend community for 47 years. Dr Vinay and Dr Supriya are passionate about providing a warm, caring and family focused practice for their patients.
With the practice growing and to accommodate the needs of our patients, we have begun the first stage of renovations to our gorgeous building to provide a more comfortable waiting room, safer disabled access, a larger reception area and a nurse/procedure room. The next stage will involve extending the waiting room, providing disabled bathroom facilities and a further 3 consulting rooms. This will provide room for another doctor and allied health professionals to join our practice.
We are also excited to have Dr Titus Mazhavancheryil and Dr Denisa Robinson join our team.
WHY US?
Dr Vinay and Dr Supriya continue to work tirelessly and with dedication to lead this brilliant practice. Along with raising two gorgeous young daughters they provide 6 after hour shifts to the hospital per month and look after nursing home patients and visit very sick and frail patients in their home. They are both continually studying to keep up to date with changes and advances in medicine. They do all this with so much energy and enthusiasm and always a smile on their faces. They are inspiring.
Dr Titus Mazhavancheryil brings many years of valuable experience to our team and we are fortunate to have this skill and knowledge available to patients and staff.
